Steama Studios is run by Amanda and her partner Steve, brought together by a shared love of creativity, craftsmanship, and thoughtfully made objects. Amanda is a highly respected ceramic sculptor with a background in art and teaching whilst Steve is a reputed professional potter who has exhibited widely. Steve is also the founder and organiser of Sheffield's go to ceramic event Only Clay.
They launched a gallery, Steama & Co, in the the creative quarter of Sheffield's city centre. Browse some of the collection in the online shop now. At the heart of the gallery is a carefully curated collection of ceramics, textiles and sculptural work, presented in a distinctive atmospheric space designed to feel inspiring and welcoming.
Ceramic workshops and classes are run from Steama Studios located just around the corner from the gallery. Set in its own dedicated space only a few minutes away the studio offers a calm, inspiring environment for making. Together they have created a place that celebrates making, encourages curiosity and invites people to slow down and engage with craft in a meaningful way.
